Here at Phoenix Electrical we are able to design and install domestic fire alarm systems to suit your requirements. Since 2015 it has been the law for appropriate smoke detectors to be fitted by landlords in rented properties. Carbon monoxide detectors must be fitted in rented properties with solid fuel burning appliances (i.e. open fires). We design, install and commission domestic fire alarm systems to suit your requirements. These include heat/smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors, which are mains powered complete with battery back up in case of power failure. These are then tested and we provide our clients with domestic fire alarm detection certification. We can interlink these smoke, heat and carbon monoxide detectors to an addressable fire alarm system to common areas if required and they can also be part of a smart home installation, for example a Nest system.

We provide Part P testing and certification services to suit your requirements including domestic electrical installation certification, minor works, domestic electrical condition reports (EICR), landlord’s certificates and PAT testing. If required under Part P your certificate will be registered with local authority building control who will provide you with a separate certificate of compliance.
